USIPE began activities in 1987, with headquarters in Criciúma, with the objective of servicing the metal-mechanic industry.

In 1994, due to the demand for qualified suppliers, USIPE opened its foundry to meet the demand for casting products.

In 2002, USIPE built a new plant in the town of Içara, in the south of the Santa Catarina state, which offered in the same unit: casting, machining, and boilermaking. This model of a complete industry is one of the main differentials offered by USIPE because we can meet the different needs of our customers.

USIPE's business is to manufacture and market custom metal products, in the Casting, Machining and Boilermaking market. We manufacture parts according to customers' drawings and designs specifications in accordance with international technical standards.

As a result, we have conquered a large market for our products, with lasting partnerships with national and international companies.

PROJECT SOLIDARY USIPE

USIPE is a partner, through the “SELO AMIGOS DO BAIRRO” initiative, of the Bairro da Juventude institute, notable in the south of Santa Catarina for its work with 1500 children, adolescents, and adults that includes programs in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Educational Laboratories, and Professional Training, promoting and allowing for social transformation through integral education and social assistance.

USIPE promotes the recycling of its main waste, such as shavings, discs, grindstones, and sand, reducing the use of energy and natural resources, thus contributing to environmental protection.

The process residues that are not reused are transported to a company specialized in industrial and sanitary landfill.
